The massive flea market that sells anything and everything. It runs on Tuesdays and Sundays, from morning until mid-afternoon. Tuesday is the big day, with the most stalls and the biggest crowds. Sunday is smaller and a bit less crowded, so it’s a good pick if you want a calmer visit. Either way, make sure to grab lunch while you’re there.
Across the street, yet figuratively a world away, is the fancy, expensive La Luciérnaga mall.
It’s up on a hill above town. It’s busy, chaotic, and maybe a bit dusty. For locals there are sometimes great deals, and for tourists it’s definitely a cultural experience.
