Chapel of the Santa Cruz del Chorro

On the Mirador walk

One of the oldest religious sites in town, tied to the El Chorro springs that helped decide where San Miguel took root. The present chapel dates to a late-19th-century rebuilding of a much older one.

It has long been important for local celebrations and processions, especially around Holy Week. Easy to walk right past — which is exactly why it’s worth seeking out.
